I’m INTERESTED. HOW DO I GET STARTED?
 
We're so excited that you're interested in our events. The easiest way to get started is to give us a call or fill out our contact form at the bottom of the page. We'll set up an initial call to give you more information and then take you through our intake process. After this, you'll be ready to RSVP for any events you like that are listed on our website!

 I’VE RSVP'D FOR MY FIRST EVENT. IS MY PLACE CONFIRMED?
​
If you've RSVP'd to an event and selected 'this is my first Livin Social event', someone from our team will be in touch to give you more information and take you through our intake process before your place is confirmed. If you've already done your intake process, your place is confirmed when you RSVP. You'll get an email confirming your spot and a text message 2 days before the event!

I’m not sure Livin Social is for me, what should I do?

The best thing to do is to call us on 0480 296 399! We are very friendly and always love a chat!

Can I use my NDIS funds for Livin Social supports?

 

YES! However we are not NDIS registered so you will need to be plan or self managed. 

Some activities have additional costs e.g. lunch you will need to pay for that on the day using your own money.

HOW DO I PAY FOR LIVIN SOCIAL EVENTS?

 

You'll receive an invoice for the NDIS support costs after the event. For any activity costs (e.g. lunch), you'll pay for those on the day using your own money unless otherwise mentioned on the event. For some events where we need to book tickets or accommodation, we will ask for this payment in advance, but this will be specified on any events where this is the case!

I didn’t receive an email from Livin Social?

​

Please check your junk folder, some mail couriers identify it as spam. If it’s not there, give us a call on 0480 296 399.

How do I know if I can attend an event?

You’ll receive an email confirming your spot and a text message 2 days before the event!

​

Can I bring my support worker to my first outing with Livin Social?

 

Part of making sure you get the most out of Livin Social is making you feel comfortable and confident. As part of this process we will have a staff member just for you. This allows us to get to know you, and you to get to know us!

 

If you’d still prefer to have your own support worker we can arrange a ‘your day’ outing with your support worker and a Livin Social staff member. Unfortunately we don’t allow your support worker on group activities as it changes the dynamic for other guests.

What do I bring on my first outing?

 

You'll need to bring your phone, wallet (ID, card/cash, companion card if the activity needs one), a drink bottle, sunscreen, walking shoes, and rain coat if the weather requires. Some activities also have other items you’ll need. These are listed at the bottom of the event invite.

 

You won’t need to bring any additional files or documents, as we’ve already got the information we need from the intake process.

Will Livin Social staff pick me up?

 

A pick-up and drop-off service is available for any guest who lives within 10km of Greensborough.

 

If you live further than 10 km from Greensborough and there’s no one on an activity within 5km of you, we may need to arrange a pick-up point or 1:1 support before and after an adventure, we’ll get in touch before the event.

 

Activities incur a petrol fee of $1 per kilometre from Greensborough (our standard events run at 1:3, so that’s 33 cents per km we’ve included in all events).
